Sometime between July , 2007 and Aug , 2007: Case Transferred to TSC
July 21 2008: Case Transferred to CSC : Reason given "To speed up processing"
Aug 14, 2008 : Case Transfered to TSC : No reason given.

Need advise - bumping this up...
Many of you must have filed for their AP - can you please share with me what is the best and the safest way to get my application to USCIS?
I was looking for some tracking to know the app got delivered and do it overnight so it gets there in a day.
Wasn't sure if UPS/fed-ex delivers to PO box addresses or should I just stick to USPS?
Also, whether some kind of delivery tracking can be done on PO box addresses?
Please advise folks... Thanks in advance for your help!

Its a nice vision. But as people getting green card they would
leave here..Any organization needs money to survive...Who
will donate it? But I agree that we need an organization
to represent ourselves.
Certain things we could address after GC Retrogression is
undercontrol ( if ever happens)
1. Address FBI name check issue..
2. Bring back VISA revalidation inside USA so that we
dont have to make a trip to US embassy..
3. Work for getting Social Security money back if we returns to home country.
....etc etc........
As time pass by old issues may be solved, but new issues will
surface.....
So I'll support an organization for sure!

I want to address this to everyone. Any organization needs a clear and precise Vision statement. Majority of the senior member complain that the people with green card and citizenship do not support immigration voice; then the question becomes what is our vision. If we confine ourselves to the benefit that we all should get green card, then what is the need for someone who has already got a green card to visit this web site. Humans are need based animals, whether you like it or not tomorrow if I get my Green Card (A big IF) it is very much likely that my visit to this website will be minimized. My priorities will be different. So core group should get a better vision statement which might address all immigrants.
The reason I came to immigration voice is slightly different, because I am still not convinced enough to accept that core group could do something which will make our law makers� act different. I support immigration voice on a bigger picture, it unites all immigrants together, and the website provides me support to all my immigration need. For example, I can search the website and find information regarding visa stamping, H1 quota and what my fellow countrymen think about it. So my sincere advice to the core group is to create a vision statement which is much bigger than the green card issue and which will make sure all immigrant no matter with green card or not will visit our website. Make the vision statement visible in the website. You have much better exposure through this. I have to agree, I am writing this out of frustration :D , but to be honest, do not treat this website for green card retrogression alone, treat it as something bigger, which will address all immigrant needs.

Here is the scenario:
Category: EB3-INDIA
PD: APRIL 2004:
140: Approved.
485 filed on July 2nd, 2007 (of course, still pending)
Changed Employer after invoking AC21 (without sending any documentation to USCIS)
There is possibility that my new employer (where I am working on EAD) may get ready to file gc for me in EB2.
Now, here are my question:
1) Since my EB3 485 is pending, is it possible for another employer to file under EB2? Is this the process which is called Inter-filing? Has anyone done that?
2) At what stage previous EB3 PD can be used ? At the time of 140 filing, 140 approval or new 485 filing?
3) What if new EB2 I40 gets rejected? Does it have any impact on old EB3 approved 140 and pending 485?
4) Does the scenario look too risky?
5) Any one in the same boat?

Although I filed the Labor Certification Application (regular filing) in mid 2004, I couldn�t apply for I-485 in July/Aug 2007 because my LC was still pending at that time. Later in 2007 I got the Labor Certification and in 2009 I received the I-140 approval.
While may case was stuck in a DOL backlog elimination center, many people who started their permanent residency process in 2005, 2006 and 2007 were able to take advantage of the I-485 filing window because of RIR and PERM filings.
I am wondering if I could request USCIS to extend to me the same EAD Card benefit that applicants with a later priority date are enjoying. Is it something I can appeal to an immigration board or to an immigration court? I have been working in H1B since 1999. Would 11 years in H1B (and 3 years in F1 prior to that) carry any humanitarian consideration in a court of appeal?
Could someone please advice?

I received an RFE on my I-140. I responded to NSC last week with what was requested in RFE. NSC acknowledged receipt of my response. How long do you think it would take for them to take a decision on my case (non-premium process).

Do not enter on AP and lose your underlying VISA status unless you have no other choice. Maintain your H1 as long as possible till you get that piece of plastic in hand.

We are in a peculiar situation regarding our FP. Did you take your FP taken? If so, did you get your file updated sometime after FP was completed? When you gave FP the last time, do you whether they had processed it before the approval?
We had to postpone our 2nd FP in May and gave our prints only in the end of June. I heard that such cases get into delays or problems. The first time over, our FPs were cleared in a week.

1. if i want to change my job then do i need to transfer my H1(my spouse's H4) and also need to file AC21?? so when the PD become current at that time this new company has to file for her 485/EAD/AP... is that correct??
It is correct that you need to maintain H1 status until your wife is on H4. If PD becomes current after you change job with H1 transfer, you just file for her 485/ead/ap. The new company does not do anything. 485 does not belong to the company, it belongs to you.

H1, yes, F1 no. F1 is not a dual intent visa. So if she accepts F1 then there will be an issue in then adjusting status to permanent residence. I am not sure about this, maybe someone with more experience/knowledge can confirm/deny.

Thats a little strange, as employers now a days are suggesting to use EAD instead
of H1's as the extentions itself has problems. And based on what i know its
ok to be on EAD instead of h1. Either way there is not much difference.
It is not strange from employer perspective. That way they will not be subjected to auditing from DOL. And they can show less number of H1B employees. Some people also gets advantages of non- H1B dependent employer.
