Dont worry. As long as you have last 3 months paystubs, always present them to INS even if they dont ask for it. For your last 2.5 months of bench check with your employer if he will give you a letter for unpaid leave of absence. Many people on H1 face this problem.
As meridiani said, you should visit india once before filing 485 and before your current visa stamp expires.

I had a quick question to add to this....
If one is on F1 and his/her spouse (who is on H1B and has filed for a Green Card) ends up with a current priority date, can the person on F1 file for the Green Card along with the spouse? Or does one have to be on H4 to ride along with the H1's COS?

I have a profile for online case status monitoring and because I attempted
logins with wrong password, I am locked out.
I get the following message:
Your password has been locked because of too many unsuccessful login attempts.Contact the USCIS Headquarters Referral Management Team for support.
Does anyone have the telephone number or email id of USCIS Headquarters Referral Management Team ? How do i reset the password by calling them. I forgot the answers to prompt questions too.

I am sure many of you don't know about TANA organization ( www.tana.org ). TANA is held every 2 years in one of the major cities in US, and for 2009 TANA is scheduled to happen in Chicago.
"TANA IS GOING TO CELEBRATE 2009 CONFERENCE IN CHICAGO AT DONALD E STEPHENS CONVENTION CENTER, ROSEMONT FROM JULY 02, 2009 TO JULY 04, 2009. "
They usually get around 12,000 to 15,000 guest of Telugu speaking people. The point i would like to make is to increase the exposure of to IV, we need to put up a booth in TANA 2009. I have attended TANA organization committee meeting on Sunday, 29 2008 and have spoken to them about IV. TANA has several stage shows, booth for business , food stalls and much more. TANA Chicago org will be needing some help( not sure what at this time ). but if we can help them so that they give us some exposure in the TANA 2009. it will be really great.
Secondly, we can have our own booth which will cost some money we can get lot of publicity.
This is just a idea and a i think it is a win-win for both of us. Let me know what you guys think.

2. Re-instate soft quota.
The above is a long term and final solution.
Other solutions - allowing to file 485, h1 extension for 3 more years will ease our life while we wait for the green card but the first two would make the wait shorter - do we want to "comfortably" wait longer or get to the end point faster ?

I am planning to drive to Canada. I have the paperwork Canadian embassy sent me.
I'll fill this paperwork and the list of items to be brought in later. Possibly answer
any questions the officials at the POE ask. Anything else at POE that I need to do?
After passing POE into Canada, possibly into a city, do I need to register at any office saying I landed? I am planning to come back very next day after landing.
This going back and forth the POE to get Canadian PR status seems to be way too easy for immigration ;). Hence my concern.
Please advice.

So what happens if USCIS calls a company which is closed. Obviosly that company is closed, so there is no way they can check it. If you loose your tax docs, it is very tough on you?
WHat worse can happen, they might reject your 140. Since your company is applying for 2 140's, that second one will be a backup

I am booking Lufthansa Airlines, travelling via Munich to Delhi.
Visa on passport is expired but I do have approval of H1B till 2010.
Do I need transit Visa? Did anybody travelled this route lately? Do you knowbody who has expereinced this lately.

Visa required, except for Those transiting to a third country
by the same or first connecting flight without leaving the
transit lounge. Warning: Transit only possible at Frankfurt,
Munich, Hamburg and Dusseldorf Airports, see conditions below.
- Nationals of India may use the TWOV facility mentioned
above if holding a residence permit for U.S.A.. (SEE NOTE
5151)
NOTE 5151: This TWOV facility also applies for the return
travel provided it is one journey and return travel has
been commenced on or prior to the expiry date of the visa

above if being admitted for residence in the U.S.A.,

After July 30th, you have to pay the higher fee, but you will get free AP/EADs for the entire duration until adjudication.
So, it's up to you (and whoever is paying for ur EADs).. you can decide appropriately.
I'm sorry, I think I misspoke.
From the USCIS memo posted on AILA's website (ref: http://www.aila.org/content/default.aspx?docid=22912):
USCIS�s announcement today allows anyone who was eligible to apply under Visa Bulletin No. 107 a full month�s time to do so. Applications already properly filed with USCIS will also be accepted. The current fee schedule will apply to all applications filed under Visa Bulletin No. 107 through August 17, 2007. (The new fee schedule that becomes effective on July 30, 2007, will
