Playboy model Shauna Sand hits the beach in her favourite pair of perspex heels

But Shauna Sand may want to consider investing in a new pair of shoes before heeding that advice.

The former Playboy model once again couldn't seem to bare being without her beloved perspex stilettos as she hit the beach in Miami today.

Teetering in the extremely high heels, the 39-year-old walked hand-in-hand with doting husband Laurence, who happily helped his blonde wife across the sand.

Shauna paired her favourite shoes with a revealing crocheted dress that she wore over an equally skimpy blue and white striped bikini.

She also carried her favourite Barbie-themed beach bag.

This is the third time Shauna has been spotted in her impractical heels in a matter of one week.

The model was first pictured teetering along the beach wearing the towering, stripper-style plastic platforms on Tuesday, and then again on Friday as she negotiated her way around Lincoln Mall.

This time Shauna did manage to part with the shoes when it was time to strip off.

After settling on a sun-baking spot, she proceeded to undress to once again expose her bikini body.

Pouting and preening the blonde seemed to be enjoying herself.

She later took some time to slather suntan oil all over her hubby's back, before the couple continued to top up their tans under the warm Florida sun.

Sand is known for her roles in TV shows Charmed and Renegade, and her dramatic private life.

She and first husband Lorenzo Lamas were married from 1996 to 2002, and had daughters Alexandra, 13, Victoria, 11, and Isabella, nine.

According to some internet reports, Sand cheated on Lamas with his then 18-year-old son, A.J. Lamas.

Her ex-stepdaughter Shane Lamas appeared as a contestant on The Bachelor, and was picked by British born Matt Grant as the winner in season 12 of the reality competition.
